Moose and Tea
Moose and Green Tea, no relation of course except for the inspiring effect on me. On a separate note, contrary to what they really are, Moose (Meese?) seem so friendly and good-natured. Green tea subconsciously makes me feel like I'll become more zen and wise by drinking it.

Trees and Musings
Isn't this a lovely day?
Yes, and it consists of eating macarons from Laduree (mind you, all of this is in my ardent imagination)
Looking at and reading Tim Walker picture books
Snuggling indoors from the cold with a warm set of slippers
Growing a massive tree in the middle of my living room? No, that was a nap.

Korma Sutra-- I Miss You, Westport
Korma Sutra means "sensuous cuisine" in Hindi. This top picture is from Cookie Magazine a while back. It's in Bali, Indonesia.
When I lived in Kansas City, MO, I would go to Korma Sutra in Westport every Tuesday after class at Penn Valley for Lunch (that's a mouthful). They have an amazing buffet--super cheap and visually beautiful and do I have to say, absolutely scrumptious. I miss Korma Sutra so much. I'll have to go for a visit some time soon.

The Black Apple Holiday Sweets
Some holiday sweets ideas by The Black Apple. Wondrous with a stout glass of egg nog or a warm mug of cocoa.
North Pole Breakfast
Just a thought. This is probably something the little she-elf from The Santa Clause would serve up at the North Pole for breakfast. Yes, it's official, I have the Christmas bug:)
Peppermint sticks dipped in white chocolate covered in nonpareils. Delightful.
Holiday-themed Starbucks is a bright spot in the year for me. I look forward to the unique flavors and creative packaging with kid-like giddy-ness. It's ridiculous that a coffee shop could inspire such excitement, but it does.
This pic is from elsiecake. Ahhh, iced coffee. Caffeine.
Just the thing to get this little guy out of bed:)

Macaroon Pastries
Macaroons are beautiful pastries. I haven't tried one yet, but I've heard people rant and rave about how great they are for some time now. I have a recipe from The Black Apple blog that I'm going to try soon:)
